Conservation

Le Château de Chamirey Mercurey blanc 2009 can be served from now at 12-14° C or kept in cellar between 3 and 5 years.


Wine making

Grapes are harvested by hand, sorted out and pressed in a pneumatic press. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vat and 30% of the cuvée is aged in oak barrels with 10% of new barrels. Malolactic fermentation is 100% realised. Wine is bottled in Traditional Burgundy bottles. The cork is marked with the estate’s name and the vintage.


Tasting Note

Le Château de Chamirey Mercurey blanc 2009 is limpid with a green gold colour and pale tints. The nose is mature and develops exotic fruits notes, menthol notes; pleasant freshness. In the mouth, the wine is full and ropy with a nice persistence, slightly salted.
