Score 88 MERCUREY RED 2008 A bright , fresh wine, its red currant and fresh plum acidity an important element. It has dry tannins at the core, giving a firm structure and hints of wood, with sweeter fruit coming through to finish. Score 90 MERCUREY RED 1er Cru les Ruelles 2008 Owned by the Devillard family, Château de Chamirey produces firmly textured wines. This Mercurey is on the dry side while not losing sight of fresh red-berry fruits and bright acidity.
