Mercurey 1er cru La Mission 2008 Mark : 90/100 Lovely flavors and texture grace this wine. Peach, citronnella, applepie, clove and nutmeg notes mingle with a creamy feel, as this glides to a lingering finish. Give it six months or so to integrate more fully. Best from 2011 trhough 2018.

Mercurey 1er cru Les Ruelles 2008 Mark 89/100 With a beautiful garnet color with purple tints, the wine has black fruit aromas (blueberry, blackcurrant and black cherry) with spicy notes of pepper and nutmeg. In the mouth, it is fresh and full-bodied, with silky sweet tannins. Fruity notes merge with sweet spices on the long finish.
